NovaSkill, a highly regarded not for profit Group Training and Registered Training Organisation are seeking a self motivated individual to join our busy team in the Terrigal area and undertake a 4 Year Chef Apprenticeship.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Key functions specific to this role?
A reputal Terrigal Bistro Requires a first year apprentice chef.
- Hours of operation 6.30am - 11pm 7 days, 38 hours per week
- Majority of work will be lunch and dinner
- Handle, sort, store and distribute food items
- Wash, peel, chop, cut and cook foodstuffs and help to prepare salads and desserts
- Dispose of rubbish
- Clean food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas.
What personal attributes might a successful kitchen hand trainee have?
- Enjoy practical work
- Must have a genuine intertest in this industry
- Able to work quickly and safely
- Must be reliable and able to work in a past paced customer orientated team envirnonment
