2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice Electrician

NovaSkill, a highly regarded not for profit Group Training and Registered Training Organisation are seeking a self motivated individual to join our busy team in the Newcastle area and continue a  4 year apprenticeship in Certificate III in Electro technology  .

SELECTION CRITERIA

Key functions specific to this role?

• Read, electrical, architectural and mechanical diagrams, drawings or specifications to determine job requirements.
• Plan the layout of wiring systems.
• Test for, locate and repair electrical malfunctions.
• Install electrical and electronic control systems.
• Assemble and fabricate electrical and electronic components and appliances.
• Connect electrical and electronic components to power supplies. 

What personal attributes might a successful Electrician have?

·         Enjoy mathematical and technical activities

·         Practical and good hand-eye co-ordination

·         Good eyesight and normal colour vision

·         Diagnostic ability

·         An aptitude for mechanics and electronics

·         Able to do precise and detailed work

·         Physically fit

·         Good communication skills

·         Current NSW Divers Licence
