NovaSkill, a highly regarded not for profit Group Training and Registered Training Organisation are seeking a self motivated individual to join our busy team in the Byron Bay Shire area and undertake an apprenticeship in Cheffing.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Key functions specific to this role?

• wash, peel, chop, cut and cook
• food preparation
• clean equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas.
• work irregular hours and to stand for long periods
• use knives and other cooking equipment efficiently and safely.

 What personal attributes might a successful kitchen hand trainee have?

• strong interets in commercial cookeryable to work quickly and safely
• good personal hygiene
• self motivated and strong ethics
• willing to learn
• hold a current NSW drivers licence
