Apprentice Horticulture Gardener

You will be working at Tweed Heads

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• An interest in practical and manual work
• ability to undertake manuel and heavy work
• flexibility to work for long hours
• ability to work outdorrs in any weather conditions
• a genuine interest in the environment
• your own transport
• school certificate
• Current drivers Licence

Key functions specific to this role?

• Assisting with planting and transporting of flowers, shrubs, trees and lawns
• Maintenance of gardens
• Identifying and correcting soil deficiencies
• Interpretating ladscape plans
• Construction of rockeries
• Installing, operating and adjusting irrigation and drainage systems
• Using, maintaining & servicing gardening tools and equipment
