Compliance Officer

Part Time – 4 days per week

NovaSkill is a Group Training and Registered Training Organisation dedicated to providing quality education and training services across a broad range of occupations throughout NSW. NovaSkill is currently seeking an experienced and motivated individual based in the Newcastle area working 4 days per week to deliver essential Corporate Services in support of our nine branch sites across NSW.

The main duties attached to this role include:
  • Conducting internal financial, RTO & GTO audits across the Company
  • Maintaining the internal Performance Improvement Register
  • Assisting in the RTO & GTO re-registration process
  • Contributing to the development of continuous improvement strategies

 The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Experience in operating a Quality Assurance/ Continuous improvement system working to both external and internal standards
  • Internal audit/ compliance experience
  • Experience in VET service delivery organisation – RTO and/or GTO
  • High level project based skills with the ability to multi task and work to deadlines
  • Well developed skills in MS software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Project
  • Demonstrated ability to complete tasks on time while follow set processes

 A salary circa $40k (pro-rata) and 10.5% super will be negotiated with the right candidate for this highly regarded role.
