  GTO Field Officer - Apprentices and Trainees

NovaSkill is seeking to appoint a Field Officer to undertake work within our Group Training division developing sustainable markets for the placement of trainees and apprentices in the Central Coast Region servicing business from Northern Sydney through to Lake Macquarie. Your new role:
  • Identify, develop and maintain a strong customer base
  • Manage recruitment, selection, deployment and pastoral care of Apprentices and Trainees
  • Ensure compliance with QA and OH&S systems
  • Manage the placement and rotation to work sites on an ongoing basis
  • Promote Traineeships & Apprenticeships to new and existing businesses
  • Assist in investigating OH&S incidents and accidents
  • Assist in gathering information and participating in apprentice counselling, dispute resolution and disciplinary action

Your requirements:
  • Sufficient previous experience in a similar role with an industry/trade background is preferred
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • A dedicated and driven team player
  • Friendly, outgoing personality with an ability to get involved at the coal face
  • Ability to work to and meet deadlines
