Stores & Warehousing Traineeship

Novaskill, a highly regarded not for profit Group Training and Registered Training organisation are seeking a self motivated person to undertake a Certificate III in Stores & Warehousing for this exciting role based in Newcastle.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• An interest in practical and manual work
• An excellent memory and good organisational skills
• An ability to work as part of a team
• Good physical fitness

Key functions specific to this role?

• Recieve goods and check them against order forms
• Label incoming goods with storage details and place them accordingly
• Package the goods and send them to customers
• Use forklift machinery to move heavy items
• Conduct stocktaking and advise when stock is to be re-ordered 

Selection Criteria

• You must have a sound understanding and awareness of safety in the workplace
• A willingness to undertake 12 months study on-the-job
• A current NSW drivers licence is essential to this role
