NovaSkill are a preferred supplier of apprentice and trainee labour for two of the NSW Managing Contractors for the Building the Education Revolution.

Overview

BER is a $14.7 billion national investment from the Commonwealth to improve the quality of facilities in Australian schools. The Commonwealth aims to build learning environments to help children, families and communities participate in activities that will support achievement, develop learning potential and bring communities together.

This program will help to support and create jobs right across NSW, while providing a great opportunity to improve the quality of our school facilities.

Managing contractors for these massive works programs have been identified and NovaSkill are pleased to announce partnerships with Bovis Lend Lease, managing contractor for the Hunter/Central Coast region and the REED Group, managing contractors for North Coast/New England region.

Have you secured work through Building the Education Revolution?

As the Building the Education Revolution is a federally funded program there are strict guidelines regarding the number of apprentices and trainees who must be employed on these projects.  At least 20% of the trades workforce must be either apprentice or trainee labor!  On top of this, there are reporting requirements you must consider to ensure you are meeting these guidelines.

NovaSkill have been working with Bovis Lend Lease and the REED Group to become a preferred supplier of apprentices.  We understand the government’s  requirements and  can help you ensure that apprentice targets can be met.
